Finally the Bower leaves the foundry and makes its way to National Trust Hidcote Gardens. Manoeuvring the bronze sculpture into place wasn’t easy and the journey slow but its now in place and just the final tweeking prior to its unveiling on Thursday.
Casting at Castle Fine Art Foundry, Stroud is complete and Ali is now working to reassemble the sculpture. ‘The Bower’ is being put together in time for its unveiling at a Private View at Hidcote on the 28th. The main sculpture is being cast but we can reveal that a very limited number of maquettes will also be produced. More information to be released once the main sculpture is revealed.
